Privacy Policy
Applies to the Android game "Jungle Break: Snack Rescue" (package com.zafigames.junglebreak). Effective date: 24 October 2026. Earlier versions: 19 October 2026, 16 October 2026 and 11 October 2026.
1. Who we are
The game is published by Zafi Games ("we", "us"), which is responsible (the "controller") for the personal data described here.
Postal address: Zafi Games, PO Box 560301, The Colony, TX 75056, United States.
Privacy contact: support@zafigames.com. Website: https://zafigames.com.
2. In short
The game has no account, no login and no social features. It does not ask for your name, email, contacts, photos or precise location. Your game progress is saved on your device. The game does connect to the internet: it shows ads (Google AdMob), sends gameplay statistics (GameAnalytics) where your consent choice allows it, and handles the one-time "Remove Ads" purchase and an optional tip through Google Play. These services collect the data described below, and some of it is collected by them under their own responsibility.
3. What data is collected, and by whom
| Who | What | Why |
|---|---|---|
| On your device only (we do not receive it) | Game progress, settings, collection, your Supporter badge count, the purchase tokens of recent purchases, and local logs. | So the game works and remembers your progress, and so a purchase is never counted twice. |
| Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads SDK) and Google's consent tool (User Messaging Platform, UMP) | Advertising ID, app-set ID, IP address and approximate location derived from it, device and OS information, ad interactions (requests, views, clicks, rewards), diagnostics and performance data. UMP stores your consent choice on the device. | Serving and measuring rewarded and interstitial ads, fraud prevention, and showing the consent form where the law requires it. |
| GameAnalytics (works for us as an analytics service provider; only where your consent choice allows it, or where no choice is required) | Gameplay events (levels started, completed with stars, failed, quits with the reason and play time, retries, snacks saved or lost, helpers used, ads offered, started, watched, skipped or failed, interstitials requested or dismissed, tutorial cards, steps and hints, purchase prompts, consent outcome), device and OS information, a random install/user ID created by the SDK, the advertising ID when it is available, country derived from the IP address, purchases of Remove Ads and of the optional tip (product, amount, currency and where in the game it was bought; never an order ID, purchase token or payment details), restore and failure events, the steps of the "Support the dev" prompt and screen (shown, opened, tip started, cancelled or failed, support ad watched), and, for each ad shown, the revenue figure Google AdMob reports to the game (its value and currency, the ad type, where in the game it was shown, and how precise the figure is). Error reports from the game and its SDKs (fixed error codes such as a failed purchase connection, a failed ad or a save fallback; the codes contain no personal data, and no crash dumps are sent to GameAnalytics). | Understanding how the game is played, balancing levels, measuring what ads and purchases earn, and fixing problems. |
| Google Play / Google Play Billing | Your purchases of "Remove Ads" and of the optional "Buy Rusty a snack" tip are processed by Google. We do not receive your payment details; analytics records only that a purchase of that product happened, with its amount and currency. | Completing the purchases, and restoring Remove Ads from Google Play on reinstall or from Settings. |
The game itself does not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, files, messages, health data or precise location. It asks for no runtime permissions and has no location permission.
Supporting the developer: the "Support the dev" screen offers optional ways to help: Remove Ads, a tip called "Buy Rusty a snack" (an in-app purchase processed by Google Play, so we never receive your card or payment details) and a rewarded ad served by Google AdMob like any other ad. The tip and the ad each earn a cosmetic Supporter badge, which changes nothing in play. The game keeps the number of badges and the purchase tokens of recent purchases in its save on your device only, so that a purchase is never counted twice; they are not sent to us or to the analytics service.
These services send data over encrypted (HTTPS) connections.
4. Consent and ad choices
In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and the US states that require it, the game shows Google's consent form when it starts, before ads or analytics start. If you decline, Google may still show non-personalised or limited ads under its own policies, and gameplay statistics (including the purchase and ad revenue figures in section 3) are not sent to GameAnalytics. Where required, Settings > Privacy options reopens the form so you can change your choice; a withdrawal stops analytics at once. Outside those regions, Google does not show a consent form, and ads and analytics run as described in this policy; you can still reset or delete your advertising ID in your Android settings and contact us at any time.
Google's consent form lists the standard IAB purposes, including some the game does not use (for example precise geolocation: the game has no location permission). The game only reads whether you allowed storing and accessing information on your device, which decides whether gameplay statistics are sent.
5. Why we use data, and legal bases (EEA/UK)
- Showing and measuring ads: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), given or refused in Google's consent form. Accessing your device for ads (for example the advertising ID) relies on that consent, as the ePrivacy rules require. If you refuse, Google may still show non-personalised or limited ads under its own policies.
- Analytics: your consent where required; otherwise our legitimate interest in improving the game and measuring what it earns. If you refuse, gameplay statistics are not sent.
- Purchases: performance of the contract with you.
- Security and fraud prevention: legitimate interest.
You may withdraw consent at any time through Privacy options (if shown) or by contacting us. Withdrawal does not affect earlier processing.
6. Children
The game is intended for players aged 13 and over and is not directed to children under 13. Ads are requested with a family-friendly content rating. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has used the game, contact us at support@zafigames.com and we will help delete any data we can identify.
7. International transfers
Our providers process data outside your country, including in the United States and the European Union. Google uses the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (and the UK equivalents) for transfers from the EEA and UK; GameAnalytics uses Standard Contractual Clauses where it transfers data outside the EEA. You can ask us for more information about these safeguards.
8. Sharing
We do not sell personal data for money and do not run our own servers that store it. Data goes to the providers above, who process it as described in their own policies. Showing ads through Google AdMob can count as "sharing" for cross-context behavioural advertising under some US state laws; see section 9 for how to opt out. We may disclose information if required by law.
9. Notice for US residents
In the last 12 months the game has collected, through the providers above, these categories of personal information: identifiers (advertising ID, app-set ID, the random analytics ID, IP address), internet or other electronic network activity (gameplay events, ad interactions and ad revenue figures), approximate geolocation derived from the IP address, and commercial information (the Remove Ads purchase and the optional tip). They are used for the purposes in section 3 and are kept as described in section 10.
Showing ads through Google AdMob can count as "sharing" personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising, or as "targeted advertising", under some US state laws (for example California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia and Texas). You can opt out: in states where Google shows its consent form, use Settings > Privacy options in the game; anywhere, delete or reset your advertising ID in Android settings, or email us. Residents of these states may also have rights to know, access, correct and delete their information and to appeal our decision; email support@zafigames.com. We will not treat you differently for using these rights. We do not use sensitive personal information, and the game is not directed to people under 16.
10. Retention
Local game data stays on your device until you clear it or uninstall the game. Data held by Google (AdMob, Play) follows Google's retention practices. GameAnalytics keeps event data according to its own retention policy and its agreement with us. We do not keep a separate copy of your data. Support emails are kept for as long as needed to answer you and for up to 2 years after that.
11. Your rights and deletion
There is no account, so we cannot identify you by name. Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR or US state laws) you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, to withdraw consent, and to complain to your data protection authority.
To ask us to delete the analytics data tied to your install, email support@zafigames.com with the subject "Jungle Break data deletion" and tell us your device model and roughly when you installed or played the game (the game does not show you its random install ID). We will pass the request to GameAnalytics, which handles deletion requests by email and deletes data from its active systems; copies may persist briefly in disaster-recovery backups. We aim to reply within 30 days.
For advertising data held by Google, use your Google Account's ad settings and Android's advertising ID controls. Uninstalling the game, or clearing its data, removes everything stored on your device (the Remove Ads purchase is restored from Google Play).
12. Third-party policies
- Google (AdMob, UMP, Play): policies.google.com/privacy and how Google uses data from sites and apps that use its services
- GameAnalytics: gameanalytics.com/privacy
13. Security
Data is sent over encrypted connections. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.
14. Changes
We may update this policy, for example when the game adds features. The effective date above shows the latest version.
